Introduction:
Welcome to JIA Waterloo Region, a community deeply rooted in the love of Christ and committed to spreading His message of hope and transformation. Since our foundation in 2017, we have dedicated ourselves to building a vibrant church family that thrives on faith, service, and fellowship. Our journey has been marked by growth, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to our shared beliefs.
Founding Years:
JIA Waterloo Region started in 2017 as a home church in the Auza family's residence. Responding to God's call to create a place of worship and fellowship, the Anareta and Auza families laid the foundation for our church to become a beacon of hope and transformation.
Growth and Development:
As our congregation grew, we moved from the Auza residence to renting the Fellowship Room of Faith Evangelical Missionary Church. By 2020, we had expanded enough to rent its sanctuary, allowing us to reach and serve more people under the leadership of Ptrs. Alfredo and Maribel Anareta, we have continued to expand our ministries, positively impacting our community and reaching out to those in need.
Adapting to the Pandemic:
When the COVID-19 pandemic forced churches to adapt and innovate, JIA Waterloo Region rose to the challenge. In 2020, we launched our live online services, enabling our congregation to worship and connect safely from home. Despite the physical distance, our sense of community and fellowship remained strong as we continued to grow together in faith and love.
Vision
John 15:16 “16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.”

With hearts full of faith and a deep sense of purpose, we are committed to fulfilling our vision and mission, continuing to grow as disciples, building strong community cell churches (J-Groups), and reaching out to those in need with the love and grace of Christ.
